Dr. Schumacher performs traditional and laparoscopic bariatric surgery, as well as general surgery. His goal is to provide you with the highest quality of advanced surgical treatment, comfortably and conveniently, in both scheduled and emergency situations. Kettering Bariatrics was founded to bring the unique benefits of weight loss surgery to patients in need throughout the Miami Valley.

As a surgeon and caregiver, Dr. Schumacher is dedicated to providing patients with the most advanced and effective surgical care available, including laparoscopic procedures for minimally invasive operations. Dr. Schumacher currently specializes in traditional and laparoscopic Roux-en Y gastric bypass.
